How to Connect Klarna

Offer buy-now-pay-later flexible payments to your customers.

What you'll need

A Klarna merchant account with API credentials.

Step 1 — Get your API credentials

Log in to the Klarna Merchant Portal (dashboard.klarna.com) and open Settings → API credentials. You'll find your API key and API secret.

Step 2 — Know your region

Klarna credentials are region-specific. Note your region code (eu, us, or au) — you'll enter it alongside your keys.

Step 3 — Connect in SellDesk

  1. Open Settings → Payments.
  2. Expand the Klarna card.
  3. Paste your API Key, API Secret, and Region.
  4. Save changes and toggle Klarna on.

Tip

Klarna generally requires approval before you can process live payments. Use your portal's test credentials while reviewing.
