How to Connect Braintree

Use PayPal-owned Braintree for broad payment support.

What you'll need

A Braintree account. If you already have PayPal, you can link them in the Braintree dashboard.

Step 1 — Get your API keys

Log in to the Braintree dashboard (via developer.paypal.com/braintree) and open Settings → API Keys. You'll find your Merchant ID, Public Key, and Private Key.

Step 2 — Connect in SellDesk

  1. Open Settings → Payments.
  2. Expand the Braintree card.
  3. Paste your Merchant ID, Public Key, and Private Key.
  4. Save changes and toggle Braintree on.

Tip

Use the sandbox API keys (found under Sandbox → API Keys) to test first.
